Edinburgh Fringe Review 18th August 2026

Four short comedy plays, each quite different from the South West London amateur theatre group New Stagers. There’s a comedy about a relationship, seeing it from both perspectives, with amusing conclusions . A comedy about a woman having a candid discussion with her houseplant. A comedy about a family listening to the mother and the awkwardness of her new writing. A comedy farce about a period whodunnit in the classic Agatha Christie style with added silliness. A well rounded set of short comedic plays, very well acted and something for everyone I think.
